Therapy Rooms
Sandtray Therapy
It is often said that a picture says a thousand words.  With Sandtray Therapy people can
use small figures or objects to create scenes in the sand.  These scenes are referred to
as “worlds”.  A created scene or world can express feelings, emotions and conflicts that
people were consciously unaware of.  Clients can increase their capacity for expression
while enhancing communication and self-awareness without having to depend on words.

Talk Therapy
Counseling is often necessary to promote optimal mental health and well-being. At
Counseling with C.A.R.E., a safe therapeutic environment has been created to allow
clients the opportunity to explore presenting concerns with the therapist. Together they
work on finding solutions through the use of many clinical interventions. Clients are
taught how to make positive choices and changes based on the insights that have been
facilitated through counseling sessions.
Play Therapy
This approach offers a unique method of communication where children are encouraged
to express themselves through play. Young children are often unable to appropriately
express their emotions through language due to their natural developmental limitations.
Communication through play offers children an opportunity to physically speak to the
therapist by using play as their language and toys as their words. The therapist provides
a specialized therapeutic set of toys to allow children an array of expressive means.
